Nuotioniemi is HyvänTähen’s new camping and relaxation destination located on the shores of the crystal-clear Lake Keitele in Sumiainen.

At Nuotioniemi, you will experience silence and tranquility while enjoying the outdoors and dining with friends or colleagues.
Nuotioniemi features a sauna cottage that offers both a sauna experience and accommodation for a small group. You can also stay overnight in the area’s two lean-tos (laavu), tree tents, or even in a traditional Kota hut.
The area features a 10–15 person Kota hut, a dining building, and a smoke sauna suitable for a group of the same size.
Get active by paddling, rowing, cycling, or even exploring our private nature trail.
Äänekoski’s new paddling routes guide you to Nuotioniemi’s magnificent rocky shore lean-to. It is also the perfect rest stop for cyclists, as we provide bike washing and maintenance tools.
We have rental canoes, kayaks, bicycles, and kicksleds available – everything you need to get moving.
