Customer:

The customer agrees to abide by these terms when purchasing products and services from HyvänTähen.

Terms of rental:

The customer agrees to use the equipment and gear at his/her own responsibility. The equipment should be used only for its designated purpose. Rental equipment can only be used to the extent stated in these terms, by those who are competent in using the equipment and in places suitable for using the equipment.
The customer agrees to return the equipment and gear in the same condition they were upon reception. The customer is responsible for compensating for any damage caused to the equipment due to incorrect use or negligence. The customer is responsible for following any transportation, safety and other regulations when transporting and using the equipment and gear. The customer is also responsible for any other persons using the equipment or any damages caused to the equipment during the rental period. The customer is responsible for reporting any failures and defects regarding the equipment to the lessor without delay. The customer is not allowed to take the equipment out of the country (without prior agreement) and is not allowed to sublet the equipment.
The equipment and gear will be inspected upon return with the help of the customer.
The lessor is responsible for any repairs caused to the equipment by normal wear and tear. The lessor is not responsible for any direct or indirect expenses or damages caused to the customer for using the equipment.
The customer is responsible for any damages caused to the equipment by the customer’s pets.
Pets must be kept on a leash inside the national park.
The rental period starts from the moment when the customer starts using the equipment or when he/she picks it up at the designated location at the designated time. The rental period ends when the customer returns the equipment to the lessor or returns the equipment at the designated location at the designated time.
The rental price is paid in advance with an invoice sent to the customer’s email address (or by cash when the equipment is received).
The customer is responsible for the validity of the information given to the lessor.
The lessor is not responsible for any nuisance or expenses caused to the customer due to adverse natural conditions, bad roads, insects, animals or rapid weather changes.

Terms of cancellation:

If the customer cancels the reservation, he/she must inform about it to the service provider without delay. The customer is responsible for informing the service provider about the cancellation in timely manner. If the customer cancels the reservation:
– In no less than 30 days before the reservation is to start, a handling fee of €10 is charged.
– In less than 30 days but more than 7 days before the reservation is to start, 40% of full price is charged.
– In less than 7 days before the reservation is to start, 80% of full price is charged.
In a case of force majeure, the service provider can cancel the agreement. In such case, the customer will receive immediate notice and is entitled to have a full refund.

Additional legal information:

In case of any disputes and/or discrepancies between the original terms and conditions and the translated terms and conditions, the terms and conditions written in the original language (Finnish) shall be considered valid.
